Milling & Reclamation
What Is Milling?
Rather than replacing the entire pavement, milling replaces just the top layer of asphalt. This approach takes less time and money than a full excavation.
The Process
Preparation
We eliminate obstructions, clean the surface, and evaluate the condition of the pavement.
Milling
We use special tools and equipment to remove the top layer of asphalt. During this step, we grind the asphalt material for repurposing.
Surface Repair
We address damaged areas of the subgrade to strengthen the foundation for new asphalt.
Application
We apply and compress the fresh asphalt.
Finishing & Marking
We apply line striping and other road markings.
What Is Reclamation?
Reclamation creates a new foundation for fresh asphalt. This approach also saves time and money by not requiring excavation and removal.
The Process
Grind & Blend
We grind and blend the remaining asphalt with soil and aggregates to strengthen the base layer.
