Snow Plowing & Ice Management
As a Wisconsin resident, you’re well aware of the harsh winters we face. Snow quickly accumulates on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots, often followed by melting and overnight refreezing that creates hidden layers of ice.
At PLM, we offer comprehensive snow plowing and ice management services to ensure safe and navigable pavements. From snow plowing and sidewalk clearing to snow hauling, liquid deicers, and salting of lots and walkways, we’re equipped to handle all your exterior pavement maintenance needs.
The Process
Weather Preparation
We keep track of weather forecasts to predict when certain areas will need snow plowing and ice management services.
Plowing & Removal
We use snowplows, snow blowers, and shovels to remove snow and ice once it starts accumulating. We also apply salt and sand to reduce future buildup.
Monitoring & Maintenance
We monitor paved surfaces where snow and ice are more likely to accumulate.
Key Benefits
- Enhanced Pavement Safety
- Reduced Risk of Accidents

How do you financially define quality snow removal? Too often our clients are focused on the bottom dollar and ignore the elements of snow removal that differentiate any contractor from PLM. When you evaluate your snow contractor you should qualify them and compare them to the PLM Difference:
Right Sized
Many contractors are equipped for 2″ snowfalls, PLM is equipped for them all! Our fleet of skid steers, front end loaders, snow pushers and trucks can handle every size storm.
Salt Storage
We procure 150% of the salt we need for each snow season to guarantee to our clients we will not run out of salt during storm events and more importantly the abnormal years like 2021!
Equipment Selection
PLM does not commit 100% of our fleet of equipment to snow accounts. For peak events, aka Blizzards, we have spare equipment to mobilize to trouble spots as well as swap out for maintenance ensuring that when winter hits hard, PLM can hit back!
“Green Products”
Utilizing liquid de-icers which are environmentally friendly brine solutions we reduce dependency on rock salt and provide additional safety/security to our accounts with pre-treatments and post-event coverage.
Self-Performing
PLM does not subcontract their accounts instead utilizes our skilled workforce to ensure we are on-site when needed, every time.
Safety
We place safety ahead of productivity and our Experience Modification Factor (EMR) validates that. PLM leaves sites SAFE!
