Project Overview

PLM Paving completed a large-scale pavement restoration project at Toyota of Brookfield, part of the Napleton Automotive Group. The 8-acre dealership property, totaling more than 300,000 square feet, required preventative maintenance after nearly a decade without surface treatment.

The project focused on restoring and protecting the existing pavement through crack sealing and heavy-duty sealcoating, helping extend the life of the asphalt while improving the overall appearance of the dealership.

Project Challenge

As a high-volume automotive dealership, Toyota of Brookfield needed to maintain uninterrupted sales and service operations throughout the project. The large property and constant vehicle traffic required careful scheduling and phased construction to ensure customers and staff could continue using the lot safely.

Because PLM Paving had successfully supported other Napleton Group locations for years, the client trusted the team to deliver the project efficiently while minimizing operational disruption.

Scope of Work

PLM Paving performed comprehensive pavement maintenance across the dealership property. Key project elements included:

  • Crack sealing to address existing pavement deterioration
  • Heavy sealcoating application across more than 300,000 square feet of asphalt
  • Two heavy coats of premium asphalt emulsion for enhanced protection and longevity
  • Project completion in three phases over three weekends
  • Majority of work performed during off-hours to minimize disruption

Project Outcome

The completed restoration significantly improved the appearance and durability of the dealership’s pavement. The new sealcoat provides a fresh, uniform surface while protecting the asphalt from weathering, vehicle traffic, and future deterioration.

By phasing the project over several weekends and working during off-hours, PLM Paving ensured the dealership could continue normal sales and service operations throughout the project.
